Brands participating in Campus Causes at launch include Nike, Apple, Under Armour, L.L. Bean, Anthropologie, WalMart, Buffalo Wild Wings, Macy’s, Fanatics, Barnes & Noble, Express and over 100 more. Along with the unique shopping partnerships, Campus Causes also provides a direct donation option.
THON at Penn State, the largest student-led fundraiser in the world, has agreed to partner with Campus Causes. “As students, we are always looking for new and exciting ways to fundraise for THON”, said Austin Sommerer, Executive Director of THON 2017. “We are excited for our supporters to have the opportunity to raise money for THON while shopping online through Campus Causes!” In 2016, THON raised over $9.7 million for the fight against pediatric cancer.
There are 20 other campus dance marathons signed up at launch with Campus Causes, including The Ohio State University, Clemson University, University of Alabama, University of Michigan, University of South Carolina and Marquette University. In addition to dance marathons, sororities and fraternities, sports teams, clubs and individuals are teaming up with Campus Causes and quickly seeing the benefits of shop-and-raise fundraising.
